Meet Brittney Hogg

Brittney Hogg

Welcome to Brittney Hogg, who in her role as Administration Assistant, is the new face of CatholicCare Social Services in Singleton and Muswellbrook. Prior to joining CatholicCare, Brittney spent the six of the past eight years working in the not-for-profit industry, including 2 ½ years at Hunter Prostate Cancer Alliance where she expanded her knowledge around administration, fundraising and finance. Brittney then moved onto Hunter Multicultural Communities ((HMC) – formally known as Ethnic Communities Council (ECC)) where she spent the last 4 years before going on maternity leave. AT HMC, Brittney was initially employed as the receptionist then proceeded to the position of Finance and Human Resources Officer, which encompassed duties including reception, administration management, bus coordination, finance management, Men’s Shed and community garden management and community development. 

Due to the partnerships that exist between CatholicCare, DARA and the Diocese, with Brittney’s past employers, she was already familiar with and admired the work that CatholicCare was doing within the community and to be a part of that excited her. Brittney had also built wonderful relationships with employees of the Diocese before joining CatholicCare. Brittney says the most enjoyable part of her role is “the variety of all the different departments, no two days are ever the same, and I enjoy that”.  Brittney is currently learning how to ride a motorbike, with the intention to be able to get her license and a road bike that she can ride!
