Leteah Mitchell is one of the new staff members in the Taree office, working with the PHaMsprogram. Leteah’s professional past has seen her being involved with TAFE NSW in Customer Service, which she has been in for just over 2 years. Last year Leteah graduated from University, completing a Bachelor of Social Work. Within her degree, Leteah was able to complete four different work placements, including PCYC Taree, Biripi Aboriginal Children Services, Manning Support Services and Juvenile Justice Taree. Leteah’s desire and passion to support people to achieve their individual goals and working within groups is what motivated her to apply for her role within CatholicCare. She says she really enjoys being in the PHaMs team and learning from her colleagues. Leteah also really enjoys being part of group work and working with the participants that are involved with the program. Leteah noted that because she is fairly new to CatholicCare, not many people know that she is Christian and that she loves to sing. Leteah is part of her church’s music team. If you are ever in the Taree office, be sure to say Hi to Leteah if you see her around.
