Marriage and Relationship Education
Course Dates Pre- & Post-Marriage & Relationship Education
CatholicCare Social Services Marriage & Relationship Education facilitates evidence-based relationship education sessions. Our programs are led by qualified, experienced adult educators with knowledge and training in relationship theories. Each program is designed to allow couples to talk privately about their strengths and discuss the challenges they may face in the future.
Couples will learn how to:
- strengthen their friendship
- build and maintain an emotional bank account
- recognise warning signs of relationship meltdowns
- understand commitment and dedication in relationships
- regulate emotions in conflict
- manage their strengths and differences.
We offer three options for couples:
Before We Say I Do
This Group Program provides the opportunity to explore your relationship, build on your strengths and gain essential knowledge and skills that you will use for years to come.
The program is held on consecutive Saturdays with numbers limited to 10 couples.

FOCCUS
FOCCUS is a pre-marriage education program where couples complete an online questionnaire followed by two sessions presented in a small group setting, A third session is an individualised session with a qualified educator for personalised discussion. This program is facilitated in the evenings.

Enhance
At times we all need a bit of extra support to keep our relationships vibrant and on track. Enhance provides couples with the opportunity to address specific issues or challenges in their relationship, however big or small.
Fees
Before We Say I Do - $320
FOCCUS - $340
FOCCUS individual - $420
Enhance - $120 per one-hour session
