CatholicCare Welcomes Our New Director
Lisa Craven has commenced this week as the new Director of our CatholicCare Social Services Hunter-Manning.
CatholicCare Social Services Hunter-Manning is pleased to announce that Lisa Craven has commenced this week as our new Director.
Lisa brings extensive leadership experience across the community, disability, mental health and youth sectors. She has led large teams delivering mental health, homelessness, domestic violence, youth and community programs, and is known for her warm, collaborative and trauma-informed approach.
Lisa’s career reflects a strong commitment to strategic leadership and service transformation and she is committed to trauma-informed, person-centred care. She is currently undertaking postgraduate studies in Neuroscience and Mental Health, adding to her qualifications in social welfare and community services.
As a Catholic and a parent of children who went through the Catholic school system, Lisa feels deeply connected to CatholicCare’s mission and is excited to contribute to our work in the Hunter-Manning region.
“I feel honoured to join an organisation with such a strong mission and commitment to supporting people in our region. I look forward to working with the team, our carers, clients and community partners to continue strengthening that impact,” Lisa said.
The CatholicCare team and the Diocese of Maitland Newcastle are delighted to welcome Lisa and look forward to her leadership across our breadth of support services and programs.
