CatholicCare recognises the importance of mental health and that it underpins all aspects of a person’s life including self-worth, forming and maintaining relationships, and the ability to work and study.
We offer a range of services and programs designed to achieve optimum mental health. People can self-refer or be referred and our support for mental health and wellbeing includes counselling and assessment services.
Counselling aims to build personal skills to manage stress, work and life events that may be overwhelming your coping resources. We assist children, young people, individuals, couples, families and organisations.
CatholicCare also offers assessment services for autism, cognition and development. Behaviour support assessment and intervention services are available for children and adults living with disabilities. CatholicCare is a NDIS provider and can support people with mental illness who are eligible for a psycho-social NDIS package.
Our adoptions counselling service caters for anyone considering adoption of their child or anyone who has ever been affected by adoption.
