Community Kitchens - October Updates

Labour Day Public Holiday Closures

Our Taree Community Kitchen (250 Victoria Street, Taree) and Forster Community Kitchen (33 Lake Street, Forster) will be closed on Monday 5 October for the Labour Day public holiday.

Please also note that the Taree Community Kitchen will be closed on Saturday 3 October.

Both Community Kitchens will reopen and resume normal service on Tuesday 6 October.

Civic Park Community Food Van

With the start of daylight savings, the Civic Park Community Food Van at King Street, Newcastle, will operate under new service hours.

From Saturday 10 October, the Food Van will be available from 6.30pm to 7.30pm.

We encourage anyone who accesses these services to plan ahead and share this information with family, friends and community members who may be affected.
